Only a quick visit to Druridge tonight, a look offshore produced a single juvenile great-crested grebe, 40+ common scoter and a few dunlin and ringed plover. There was also a steady stream of swallows moving south.
Today I was out on the coast with Clare Balding recording for the Ramblings programme on Radio 4, accompanied by TAC, we walked from Spindlestone Mill to Beadnell. The programme should go out in
September.
Lunch time at Cresswell a steady stream of Swallows South over the dunes for most of the afternoon.

Ipin, your getting to be quite a minor celeb - can you dance!!
ReplyDeleteWarren he can't, but he is good for sending into thorny bushes for flushing out migrants! He is never out of our local paper up here its only a matter of time before he is in OK! magazine showing the decor of the latest hide :)
ReplyDeleteStewart's right, I can't dance to save my life, but with the benefit of vast quantities of lager I often give it a go...
ReplyDeleteIn fact if you're off to Leeds Festival this weekend you might even witness it!
